Finance and Operations Criminal Background Checks

Effective immediately every regular employee (and some temporary employees, depending on job duties) hired into the Finance and Operations Division (Org 05) will be subject to a criminal background check (CBC), unless otherwise not required per UI internal transfer guidelines (http://www.uiowa.edu/hr/administration/InternalTransfers.html). Student employees may be subject to a CBC depending on job duties.

In limited circumstances, exceptions to this policy may be considered. Exemptions will be considered via the Criminal Background Check Exemption Form (pdf for download and print).
